All unused, in color. Printing quality as noted throughout.
Dust is everywhere in Afghanistan & these were acquired
in dusty shops. When we see dust marks on these items
we note it as "dusty" but no deduction in price is taken,
because that condition is actually a mark of authenticity.
You cannot get better Afghani postcards than this,
even if you were to travel there personally.

[The only downsides to such size: an occasional corner bend or slight waviness in the paper is to be expected.] All unused, in color. Printing quality varies, but is usually very good. Dust is everywhere in Afghanistan & these were acquired in dusty shops. Such condition is actually a mark of authenticity. Good variety of subject matter includes art, dwellings & people. glossy real photo postcard made in Italy, 1958 date on the front & numbered
on back for a traveler's album, high contrast, good edges. $3.75 ab
"Khyber Pass, Bermuda" color post card from the Bermuda Catering Company
(their number 140223 on back), minor corner wear, otherwise fairly fresh for
its circa-1910 age. This narrow road was named after the Afghanistan pass in
which a Bermuda-based regiment took very heavy casualties in 1841 during the
First Anglo-Afghan War. $7.00 ba
"Lord Melgund // The Earl of Minot The Countess of Minto // Minto
House. / Home-Coming of the Earl and Countess of Minto" unused sepia-tone
real photo post card, small corner crease, one bottom corner noticeably
worn, slight oxidation as expected. The Earl served in the Second Afghan
War, 1878 - 1879. He also served as Governor General Of Canada, 1898 - 1902.
The Minto Cup in lacrosse is named after him. 
"Supreme Court Justice / Douglas in Afghanistan" well done home-made (and,
hence, unique) regular-size post card mailed 1963 from Pecan Gap Texas,
minor corner wear. William O. Douglas was the longest-serving justice in the
Court's history, but just try to find another postcard of him! $3.00 al
