"A FIFTY MILE / SIGHT SEEING / TRIP / ON THE / U.S. MAIL BOAT / UNCLE SAM" regular-postcard size booklet in 4 panels, explanation inside gives list of landing times at the various islands (Loon Island, Pine Island, Bear Island, etc.) for the floating post office captained by Edward Levallee, corrected to remove reference to Eastern Standard Time. 4 small silvery remnants from former mounting at corners obscure nothing, small residue from tape at top center of one panel. Captain Edward Levallee operated the mail boat until 1927. Also included: a small photo of passengers on board at a dock, with handwritten caption on back 'The Mail Boat Delivering  / & taking on mail at  / one of the islands in / Lake Winnepesaukee", also with small silvery remnants at its corners.
