The only post card we have ever seen from this tiny town (about 100-125 souls at that time); possibly unique & taken by the writer. $60.00 o

    near AVA (NOBLE COUNTY). "ENGINE AND PROPELLER OF SHENANDOAH, NEAR AVA, OHIO" unused black & white post card including several curious onlookers & souvenir hunters nearby, light toning on back, front toning mostly in the right & bottom borders. The United States first rigid dirigible, this Navy scouting airship crashed in 1925 while on a promotional mission through the Midwest. The stern section fell near Ava; the rest landed near Sharon Ohio. Fourteen crew perished in the disaster. $15.00 zoa(m)d
