Unused continental postcard showing its aircraft in flight overhead, copyrighted, near mint. $7.50 ar NEW / NEU / NY Intact but fragile booklet of 10 sepia-tone post cards produced just after the Revolution on brittle brownish paper, the second in a series showing the notables before & after that Revolution. The following are our best efforts at transliteration of the cover names: Bryeshkye-Bryeshkovskaya, Viera Fugnyer, Maria Spurudonova, Perovskaya, Prudipeva (Korda), Shmudt, Kalyayev, Krapotkin, Morozov, & Bauman. We think this includes: Babushka (Grandmother of the Revolution), the Czarina, the Prince, revolutionaries, and Kropotkin (himself a prince). Originally priced at one ruble. A visual treat, and a must for the student of Erzya Mordvin culture. The Soviet government sent him abroad to popularize art in the country, and late awarded him the Order of the Red Banner of Labour. $20.00 asr
"THE SIGHTS OF LENINGRAD" Booklet of 15 different unused continental postcards, quality printing with a 1990 copyright, each with a little wear at but one corner, including cover that has somewhat more wear from its mostly successful duty of protecting the cards.
